In my design concept, I aimed for a minimal yet bold aesthetic, utilizing a black-and-white color scheme enhanced by a duotone effect to make the images truly stand out. Initially, I considered incorporating purple to symbolize feminism; however, I ultimately decided to stick with black and white. This choice not only added a sense of suspense but also complemented the title “Method,” which resonates throughout the magazine.

I collaborated with a 10-member team to curate and design content for a newspaper publication using Adobe InDesign. I applied comprehensive, layout-driven thinking to create engaging spreads that complemented written articles, and I developed compelling headlines for featured stories to strengthen clarity and reader engagement.
